I'm a Senior Frontend Engineer in Berlin, working on React, TypeScript, and the Tiptap and ProseMirror ecosystem. Tiptap core maintainer since 2022, building rich text editing tools. I write about the messy parts of frontend work and share the tools and setups I actually use day to day.

A ProseMirror-powered change tracking system for collaborative document editing.
- Tiptap Comments2024 — 2026
Threaded comments and annotations for Tiptap-based editors. Built with collaborative Yjs documents, ProseMirror, and Tiptap — working alongside the backend team.
- Tiptap Core2022 — Today
Core maintainer since 2022. Led the v2 stable release and full development of v3. Now focused on Tracked Changes, Comments, Devtools, tooling, and open source maintenance across the ecosystem.
- Tiptap Documentation2024 — Today
A custom-built Next.js documentation site for Tiptap with multi-product support, version management, authentication, and performant content collection system handling hundreds of MDX files.
- Mira Melzer Portfolio2025 — 2026
A sleek and fast-loading portfolio site built in cooperation with Mira Melzer, who delivered the design while I implemented it in Astro with content collections for projects.
